A mother and daughter duo (Katherine and Lindy) dreamed of a Gelato company that would bring their community together. Their adventure commenced right in the heart of their very own kitchen in Houston in 2015, where they concocted gelato creations that were more enchanting than a well-aged Bordeaux.

 

Friends and neighbors became instant fans, heralding their gelato as nothing short
of a revelation. This grew first into a food truck and then a brick-and-mortar, but they dreamed into existence KARI, an online subscription company that specializes in vegan, dairy-free, high-end, all-natural gelato featuring unique, quirky flavors. The best part? Kari’s employs and supports refugees and immigrants, seeking to make everyone feel at home in the country Katherine and Lindy love so much.
